Intermittent stimulation can be explained in two ways:
- Mistaking Intermittent Stimulation for a Fault
Thank you for your message, and we apologize for the delayed response. Please note this is not a fault. ZenoWell Vita uses different stimulation patterns depending on the mode:
- Only Sleep mode provides continuous stimulation.
- Relax and Medit modes are designed with an intermittent cycle — stimulation for 4 seconds, followed by a 4-second pause.
👉 Recommendation:
- When using Medit mode, you can combine it with breathing exercises:
- Exhale slowly when you feel the stimulation.
- Inhale slowly during the pause.
This intermittent design is intentional and scientifically validated in clinical studies. The difference in sensation is normal and not a device defect.
- Possible Electrode or Contact Issues
If the user provides only general feedback, we’ll ask for clarification:
- Do you feel no stimulation at all?
- Do you feel it very weakly or inconsistently?
- Or does it feel like it comes and goes irregularly?
Please note:
- Relax and Medit modes are intermittent by design (e.g., 4s on → 4s off).
- This can sometimes be mistaken for a connection problem, but it is part of the program, not a device or electrode failure.
Once we receive more details, we will provide guidance to help optimize placement and usage.
